Tl�e foiiowing CHANGES are hereby �nade to the Contract Documents:
1. Pi#kitt Countv Waste Svstems, L.L.C. �vill reclaim approYimatelv 250 000 cubic yards of
concrete, i•ock and soil fi•om rivo areas where tiiis material has been buried near the
surface of the landfill.
2. Pitkin Cotuttv Waste Systetns, L.L.C. wil( receive $2.25 per Qate vard for the crushin� of
the in-place a��re�ate plus 50% of the sales revenue of the product generated from t(iis
rp oject•
JUSTIFICATION for the Cl�ange to the Co«tract Doc�nne�its:
1. Pitkin Countv Waste Svste�ns, L.L.C. can reclai�n the airspace currently taken bv the bv-
product of past soil recoverv efforts and (andfill nractices. Sale ofthe processed material
taken from this proiect could generate aaproximately $940,Q00 (50% =�45E}.0001 and at
the current landfill gate rate die additional sirspace will �enerate appro.cimatelv $4
inillion.
