t WHEREAS, Snowmass Water and Sanitation District has applied for �
�, Subdivision Exemption under Section 4.02.02 a.4 of the Code which authorizes: �
�
the Board to consider exemptions which would create parcels for comnunity ,a -
facilities, and �

WHEREAS, Snowmass Water and Sanitation District wishes to purchase �
� a 6.8 acre site from Snowmass Corporation, portions af which site are "%
+ ';
? now owned by the District. The District wishes to quit claim their
existing parcel back to Snowmass Corporation, then purchase a differently �
? shaped parcel back from the Corporation in ord�r to facilitate expansion �`
�i
plans, and ''�

WHEREAS, the District wishes to purchase a second parcel of approx- �
imately 1.8 acres located southwest of the existing plant to be used ,;;,
i as the future site of a new detention pond, and `r
� 1:
'� WHEREAS, these land areas are necessary to the district in order _
'> to accommodate facilities for an advanced waste treatment facility �
� ,
� funded by a federal 201 EPA grant for which improvements a special �i
� review anplication must be filed. -�.�

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners ,
' that an exemption from the definition of subdivision be and hereby is "
�
granted to the Snowmass Water and Sanitation District for the purchase of .
two parcels from Snowmass Corporation as shown on the maps attached '•4
hereto and incorporated herein provided that the applicants prepare a '3
new survey of the parcels locating utilities in their proper easements
meeting the concerns of the County Engineer and that prior to recording °;

of the exemption, the plat be referred to the County Attorney for review
and approval:
