COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO� �¢

ADOPTING THE 1978 EDITION OF THE '
NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE
- - Resolut3on No. 78-�_
WFiEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners are authorized,

� by the provisions of C.R.S. 1973, Section 12-23-104(3) (a) to
z: adopt, for application within all unincorporated areas of
!
,, Pitkin County, the current edition of the Uniform Buildinq
�
Code (1978 edition) and
� WHEREAS, in anticipation of the adoption of this Code,
� the Board has conducted a public hearing on April 10, 1978,
� prior to which notice of the same was published by the Aspen
fiTimes on five separate oocasions, and
� WFiEREAS, the Board has determined that adoption of this
� Code is in the public interest and wishes to puzsue the same,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, that pursuant

to the authority conferred by reason of C.R.S. 1973, Section
12-23-104(3) (a) it does hereby adopt, by reference thereto,
the Uniform Electrical Code, 1978 edition, adopted by the � '
National Fire Proteotion Association, 470 Atlantic Avenue, �
Boston, Massachusetts, on May 16-L9, 1977, to have the same
A force and effect (throughout all unincorporated areas of �
Pitkin County) as though set forth herein in every particular. y
Approved on April 10, 1978, to be effective immediately. �
