� OF PITKTN COUNTY� COLORADO, REESTABLISHING �
� THE ANNUAL APPI,ICATION DATE FOR REZONING AND �
� SUBDIVISION APPROVALS FOR THE YEAR 1978 �

� WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have, on
May 30, 1978, conducted a public hearing to consider a series
of amendments to the Pitkin County Land Use Code for the
purpose of implementing the provisions of the Aspen/Pitkin
;� County Growth Managesnent Policy Plan (third dra£t), and
I WHEREAS, it is apparent that, in the event that the
proposed amendment is adopted, it will establish a July 17,
1978 deadline for applications for development allotments
under the quota system therein established, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that it will be
extremely advantageous to simultaneously process all appli-
cations for such development allotments, and for rezoning, 1
subdivision and planned unit development approval, all as I
contemplated in various other provisions of the Land Use
Code, and
WHEREAS, it is apparent that this objective cannot be
achieved unless the Board waives the June lst submission

deadline for rezoning and subdivision applications for the � �

year 1978 only, I.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County j
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, that for the year
197B (only):
1. The provisions of Section 3.01.07 b 3 of the Pitkin �
County Land Use Code to the contrary notwithstanding,
i
applications for rezoning to PhiH (Permanent Moderate i
Housing) shall be submitted on or before July 17, �

2. The provisions of Section 4.06 of the Pitkin County �
i I,and Use Code to the contrary notwithstanding, �
�
j applications for subdivision approval shall be
submitted on or before July 17, 1978;
3. The provisions of 9.02.01 of the Pitkin County
Land Use Code to the contrary notwithstanding,
applications for amendments to said Code (in-
cluding rezonings) shall be submitted on or before
July 17, 1978;
and all subsequent procedural deadlines with respect to said
applications be set back accordingly.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Pitkin County Planning
Office publish notice of the foregoing at the earliest
possible date.
