BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO
Resolution Na. 78-�p�
A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSES IN
EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE SUDGET YEAR IN 1978 FOR PITKIN COUNTY,
COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the need for size reduction of computer maps of Pitkin was
established and budgeted for in the Assessors budget in 1977.
WFiEREAS, the computer maps were not received from TRICO Engineering ��
Company as planned during the 1977 budget, therefore the reduction of those maps
was not completed in 1977.
WHEREAS, the reduction of these maps done in 1978 amounted to $ 2,877.
WHEREAS, the Assessora budget was underspent in 1977 by over $ 20,000
ending up in the General Fund Surplus and being due to afarementioned circumstances.
WHEREAS, this contingency could not have been foreseen at the time of the
preparation of the 1978 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the budgeted revenues of the General
Fund be increased by a transfer from Fund Surplus in the amount of $ 2,877.00
and that the Budgeted Expenditures of the General Fund be increased by $ 2,877.00
in the Assessor,s,;department in line item !f 00115-83900.
