� WE�REAS, on recommendation of the Planning and Zoning
�
Commission, the Board, at a public hearing held June 12, 1978,
.
and again on June 26, 1978 did consider various amendments
to the Pitkin County Land Use Code to accommodate the con-
. � struction of recreational buildinqs and clubhouses within _ •
�
."�� various zone districts, and
� WHEREAS, the Board has determined to adopt such amend-
�
� ments, all as provided below
� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
� Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado;
�:
� Section 1
� That Sections3.03, 3.04 and 3.05 of the Pitkin County
�d Land Use Code be amended by the repeal of each subsection
�� � �
� 18 of Section 3.03, subsection 20 of Section 3.04 and sub- �
�{. x
� section 24 of Section 3.05, for the purpose of deleting '�
� "Membership Clubs" as a use category within said Land Use �
� �
�
� Code. ��

� Section 2 �
.��y That Sections 3.03, 3.04 and 3.05 of the Pitkin County �
� Land Use Code be amended: s
�� (1) by the repeal and reenactntent of subsection �

� 19 of Section 3.03 and subsection 21 of Section �
� 2
� 3.04 to read as follows: �`

"Clubhouses or recreational buildings (if used y
in conjunction with and accessory to permitted :;
outdoor recreational uses) ." :�

and addition of the foregoing as subsection 24 of
Section 3.05.
(2) the designation of subsection 19 of Section 3.03,
" subsection 21 of Section 3.04 and subsection 24
- of Section 3.05 as a prohibited use in each of the
R-30, R-15, R-6, SR, AF-1, AF-3, RS-160, RS-20,
RS-30 and B-2 zone categories; and as a use
permitted by special review in the AR-1, AR-2,
T, AF-2, B-1 and I zone categories.
Section 3
And that Section 12 of the Land Use Code be amended by ,
the addition of the definition of "Clubhouse" to read as
follows: .
"Cluhhouse"
A structure servicing permitted recreational
uses and limited exclusively to the following:
snack bar, pro shop, lockers, showers, saunas,
exercise areas and office space.
Adopted by the Board of County Commissioners at its
regula'r:meeting held July 10, 1978, to be effective i.mmediately,
