� A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE PITKIN COUNTY FAIR BOARD

_� WHEREAS, the majority of acres of Pitkin County land may

' be considered rural in character, and
�.
`- a WHEREAS, the majority of people in Pitkin County derive
� at least some of the necessities of life from rural occupations
�
� and pastti.mes, and

y WHEREAS, the activities of family members in a rural setting
� : represent a wholesome cross-section of family life in America, and

f WIiEREAS, a County Fair offers the best opportunity for
public display of those activities.
NOW, THEREFORE,'BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
� Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado do recognize and support
�
the activities of the Pitkin County Fair Board in their efforts
� to produce the 1978 County Fair this August 19 and 20.
�
