RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PZTKIN COUNTY
CONCERNING COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE �
COiINTY SALES TAX REVENUES

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 78-121 adopted October 2, 1978
and approved by the Pitkin County electorate on November 7,
1978, the Board of County Commissioners did establish a new
method of distributing the County 2� sales tax among municipalities
and to Pitkin County, and
WHEREAS, this sales tax proposal provides that the new
method of distribution shall be effective January 1. 1979, and
WfiEREAS, clarification with respect to the actual cash
flow of the redistributed sales tax funds is necessary, and
WHEREAS, the proposal authorized the Board of County
� Commissioners to adopt, by resolution, any definitions or
_ procedures concerning the collection of the County sales tax
funds that may be required to implement said redistribution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, that the new method
of distributing the Pitkin County sales tax, ratified by the
electorate on November 7, 1978, shall apply to those County
sales tax revenues generated after December 31, 1978. x
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Colorado Department
of Revenue, Sales Tax Division, be notified of the action
herein taken.

County, Colorado, at its regular meeting held on November 13,
