AGREEME

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this �_ day
of n�� , 1978, by and between the COUNTY OF PITKIN,
, COLORADO, a body politic and corporate, hereinafter called
the "County", and DUANE PIFFER, Resident of Redstone, Colorado. :
' W I T N E S S E T H:
; That the County and Mr. Piffer for the consideration

� hereinafter named agree as follows:

� ARTICLE I
�i� TERM OF AGI2EEMENT
. The work to be performed on this Agreement shall be from
� October 2, 1978 until September 30, 1979.

ARTICLE II
� BASIC SERVICES PROVIDED
Mr. Piffer shall be resonsible for the following services
on Redstone Road: '
1. Early morning plowing of Redstone Road (before
6:30 AM);
2. Maintaining roads during the day (plowing, cindering
or moving snow if needed); ,,'
3. Spreading cinders when needed; and
4. Si.mple summer maintenance items as requested
by the Pitkin County Road and Bridge Manager.
ARTICLE III
CONDITIONS

Mr. Piffer will supply the following: -
1. Pickup truck/blade capable o£ doing job. '
2. I,abor.
3. Telephone numbers for responsible persons in ��
Redstone where Mr. Piffer can be reached. �

4. All cinders needed. �

�' PAYMENT FOR SERVICES PROVIDED

;M The County agrees to the following terms as payment to

�. Mr. Piffer for services provided:

�� 1. For the basic term of this Agreement, the County -
�
`� will pay the sum of Five Thousand Four Hundred Dollars
��
� ($5,400.00).
�,�
,� 2. Billing shall be made by Duane Piffer once a month
� for previous month's service at a rate of $800.00 per month
�
� with a final payment of $600.00.

,;; Duane Piffer agrees to provide services listed in a

- � good, safe, reliable, workmanlike manner to the satisfaction
� of the P.itkin County Road and Bridge Manager.
ARTICLE VI .

CANCELLATION OF AGREEMENT Y
- The County reserves the right to cancel this Agreement
for lack of service by Mr. Piffer by giving written notice
of at least five days.
ARTICLE VIII
OPTION OF RENEWAL
The County will renew this Agr�ement for two more one �

year periods providing Mr. Piffer performs as aforementioned. �
Mr. Piffer agrees to supply the same services as �
