A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO dEFRAY EXPENSES � ,
IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR PITKIN COUNTY FOR THE BUDGET YEAR 1977

WHEREAS, Pitkin County has received a grant from the Urban Mass Transit �
Authority to purchase five (5) new buses for county transportation.
WHEREAS, designs for the exterior are necessary for proper identificatlon. � � `
WHEREAS, a new logo for all buses was deemed desirable ta express the �
feeling of the Pitkin County Bus System.
WHEREAS., Gosh Studios has presented designs and art work acceptabTe and
approved for this purpose.
WHEREAS, the need for this contingency could not have been reasanabiy
foreseen at the time of the adoption of the budget.
WHEREAS, there is an available $5,000 in the Cammissioners Department for
contingencies for just such purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

General Fund i
That a transfer be made from Commissioners contingency line item
�01-113-719 in the Commissioners Department and be shown as a
transfer to the Bus Transit Fund #O6.
Bus Transit Fund
That budgeted revenues for the Bus Transit Fund be increased by

$5,000 as a transfer from the 6eneral Fund and that budgeted
-���:s:-.;..expenditures for the Bus Transit Fund be increased by $5,000.
