RESOLUTION OF THE PITKIN COUNTY HOUSING AUTAORITY
AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MIDLAND PARK PROJECT

WfiEREAS, the Pitkin County Housing Authority, under ifs • � '

-- authority found in C.R.S. 1973, Section 29-4-501, et seq., has �
sponsored an application under the provisions of Section 3.01.07 :�

of the Pitkin County Land Use Code for development approval for �
�
the construction of thirty-seven residential units known as the � ''
Midland Park Project, and �
. �,
, WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissions, at it meeting held �
H
�}•�(0•7 7 , 1977, has approved the Detail Submission made ��
on behalf of the project by the architectural firm of Copland �
Hagman Yaw Ltd, which approval authorizes the construction of
r.
the improvements upon the issuance of a building permit therefore, � '
�
and, �
WIiEREAS, the Authority, pursuant to the requirements of �,
C.R.S. 1973, Section 29-4-602, has given notice of its intention �'
to construct this project by posting notice of the same in the
�'.;
offices of the Pitkin County Clerk and Recorder conspicuously
�'
and continuously from July 27, 1977, as well as having published
such notice in the Aspen Times on July 28, August 4, Auqust 11 �;.
and August 18, 1977; and a minimum of thirty (30) days have �:..
elapsed since the date of posting and last publication, during �
which period there have been presented to the Authority no pe-
titions requesting that the question of the construction of the �
project be put to the vote of the electorate, and �
WHEREAS, the Authority feels it appropriate at this time, �,
to authorize the construction of the Project, as well as the �;;
execution and delivery of certain documents relating thereto,
and to do so as a matter of record,

NOW, THEREEORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the commissioners of �
the Pitkin County Housing Authority that it does hereby author- �`
ize the construction of the Midland Park Project, according to
the specifications, terms and conditions of the Detailed Sub-
mission therefore prepared by Copl.and Hagman Yaw Ltd and ap-
proved by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County,
Colorado, at its meeting of �/• p'�(y , 1977.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Housing
Authority is hereby authorized to:
(1) execute, on behalf of the Authority, that
"riidland Park Improvements Agreement°
attached hereto; and
(2) deliver to the Salvation Ditch Company that
indemnification agreement found in a letter
over the signature of Michael Kinsley, dated
September 6, 1977, a copy of which is also � '
attached. �
