A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MUNEY TO DEFRAY '
EXPENSE AND RECQRD flUDGETED REVENUES, IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS
BUDGETED FOR THE COUNTY OF PITKIN, COLORADO !

WHEREAS, The.need for improvements at the old Aspen Airways terminal
was necessary for use as an airport office space for several charter
airltnes, F.BO offices and a County maintenance department. Tnese amount
to approximately $37,000 more than originally budgeted.
WHEREAS, The need for additional landscaping around the airport was
found to be necessary.
WHEREAS, there was a loss on the refunding issue of the 1976 Series A ,
Airport Revenue Bonds of $65,121.
WHEREAS, these contingencies could not have reasonably beem foreseen
at the time of the adoption of the 1977 budget,
WHEREAS, there is $65,121 available in the Airport unappropriated surplus

to cover the loss on refunding. ; '

;� NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners �
of the County of Pitkin, Colorado: ,

Airport Fund
� 1. That the 19T7 appropriation for the Airport fund be increased by
$102,121
s
2. That the 1977 available budgeted revenues for the Airport fund �
be increased by $102,i21; $65,121 as a transfer from surplus
and $37,000 as a transfer from the County Contingency fund
I
