TtIIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this fifteenth
day of June, 1979 by and between ROARING FORK RESOURCE CENTER and the
BOARD OF COUNTY COMAfISSI0NCR5 OF PITKIN •COUN'fY, COLORApO (hereinafter
referred to as the "County") to be completed during the Calendar

WHEREAS, Roaring Fork Resource Center provides
educational opportunities to the residents of Pitkin County in the ;
? area of alternatfve energy sources, energy conservation and ,'
renewing resources. +
� WHEREAS, Roaring Foxk Resource Center provides information ;
� , to area residents encouraging energy conservation, therefare adding
to the quality of life in Pitkin County. ' E

WHEREAS, the parties wish to establish a method of ;
payment for these services.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration o£ the mutual bene£its i
to be derived herefrom, the parties hereto agree as follows. � i

Section 1. Services to be Performed

A) Roaring Fork Resource Center wil,l carry out an educational �
program of benefit to local residents. R,F.R.C. will take �
responsibility for preparation, scheduling, publicity and procurement �
of educational aids needed to facilitate such a program. !

63 The above mentioned organization specifically will offer a =
series o£ at Ieast six educational opportunities in svch areas �
'as: solar design, architecture and construction o£ she2ters;
. solar hot water heater construction; solar greenhouses; i
heating with wood; and other alternatives which promote energy �
conservation.

Section Z. Payment for Services Performed �

A) Pitkin County shall pay Roaring Fork Resource Center a maximum �
� of $1200 (One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars) for the above K
mentioned services. -

B) Roaring Fork Resource Center shall receive two payments of $600 ?
each, the first to be paid after June 1, 1479 and the second
to be paid after September-1, 1979, j

C) It is the responsiUility of Roaring Fork Resource Center to �
request payment (not Lo exceed §1200) with a written statement
