" the "County", and DUANE PIFFER, Resident of Redstone, Colorado. `'

That the County and Mr. Piffer for the consideration �
� hereinafter named agree as follows: �
ARTICLE I � ;
TERM OF AGREEMENT �
r: The work to be performed on this Agreement sl�all be

,`�"�- from September 24, 1979 until Octoher 1, 1980.

" ARTICLE II
BASIC SERVICES PRO�IIDED
� Mr. Pi£fer shall be responsible for the following
� services on Redstone Road:
1. Early morninq plowing of Redstone Road (before
6:30 AM);
2. hlaintaining roads during the day (plowing, cindr,�ing
or moving snow if needed) ;
3. Spreading cinders when needed; and
4. Simple summer naintenance items as requested
by the Pitkin County Road and Bridge Manager. -
ARTICLE III
CONDITIONS
Mr. Piffer will supply the following:
1. Pickup truck/blade cap.able of doing job.
2. I,abor.
3. Telephane numbers for responsible persons in
Redstone where Mr. Piffer can be reached.
4. All cinders needed.
5. Gas and oi1 for truck.
6. AII maintenance on trucks.
ARTICLE IV
PAYMENT FOR SERVICES PROVIDED
The County agrees to the following terms as payment to
Mr. Piffer for services provided: '�

1. For_ the basic term of this Agreement, the County '
will pay the sum of Five Thousand Four_Hundred
DolI.ars ($5,400.00).
2. Billing shall be made by Duane Piffer once a month
for previous month's service at a rate of $800.00 per
month with a final payment of $600.00.
3. Billing shall be sent to the:

CHARACTER OF OPERATION

CANCELI;ATION OF AGREEMENT

� The County reserves the riqht to cancel this Agreement �

s Por lack of service by Mr, Piffer by giving written notice of at �

- ARTICLE VII �
� OPTION OF RENEWAL
� The County will renew this Agreement for one more �

. one year period providing Mr. Piffer performs as aforementioned. �
Mr. Piffer agrees to supply the same services as �

aforementioned at the rate of $5,400.00 per year. R
