,` AGREEMENT REGARDING PERFORMINC, AR75 CENTER STUDY

7his agreement made this �� day of October 1979, by and between the
QOARD Of COUNTY COFIMISSIONERS OF PITKIM COUNTY, COLORAD� (here'inafter referred ;

- - to as "County") and the ASPEN FOUPiDATION FOR THE ARTS (hereinafter referred to i

as "A.F.A.").
WHEREAS, A.F.A. has contracted with Arts Development Associates, Inc., to
analyze the cultural needs and resources of the Roaring fork Vailey to determine
if it is necessar,y and feasible to baild a performing arts center in addition �

to the renovated Wheeler Opera House, and
WHEREAS, the County desires to use the results of this study in its planning
for the community, and -
WHEREAS, the total cost of tfie study project is approximately $27,000, but
several individuals and organizations have already contributed to partiail,y ;
�fund the project.

NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed b,y and between the parties hereto as fo7lows:
1. A.F.A. will complete the study project described above and
deliver three cooies of the final project report to the
- Pitkin County Administration Office, 506 East Main Street,
Aspen, Colorado, 81611, on or before December 31, 7979.

2. The County will pay $1,000 (Qne Thousand Dollars) ta A.F.A.
- ` upon completion of item #1 above and receipt of a written
� request for payment.
