_ A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FUNDS WITHIN TNE GENERAL FUNb j
RESOLUTION #79- ,�,� �

WHEREAS, a tract of land designated as Tract #5, Castle Creek Ranch, was '
- � doub7e assessed for several years and sold to Dr. Philip Tannenbaum at the 1974
annual tax sale, and, j
WHEREAS, upon recomnendation of the County Assessor the Board of County I��
i
� Commissioners has approved of refunding the taxes and other costs paid by Dr.
�
Tannenbaum plus interest at eight percent per annum, and,
.,i .
WHEREAS, according to C.R.S. 1973, 39-12-111, the tax refund shall be made j
� from the various funds to which the tax was originally distributed, but the refund �
i
of other costs and the paynent of interest in the amount of $364.75 shall be paid �
. I
from the County General Fund, and,
WHEREAS, it could not have been reasonably forseen at the time of adoptian
of the 1979 budget that this refund would be made, and,
WHEREAS, there are sufficient contingency funds available in the BOCC/
Manager department of the general fund.
- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado that:
- $365 be transferred 'from the 1979 BOCC/Manager department budget to
the Treasurer's budget as follows:
BOCC/Manager contingency $(365) (00113-89910)
Treasurer refunds 365 (OOii2-89310)
Approved by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County,
Colorado at their regular meeting held february 26, 7979.
