WAEREAS, Pitkin Count,y has established a merit raise pool �
'' within the Personnel Department as part of the 1979 General Fund �

' ,� anpropriation, to be used with the recommendation of the Personnel
;j Review Board and approval of the County Manager, and

WHEREAS, the Personnel Revie��� Board has made specific
salary recommen@ations recruirinq additional budget to be appro7�riat- �
� ed within certain departments, and
� �
WHEREAS, it could not have been reasonablv foreseen at
r� the time of the adoption of the 1979 budget which employees would
� be awarded merit increases, and
�
- WHEREAS, there is available within the Personnel Depart-
ment of the General Fund sufficient merit raise bool funds, and
WHEREAS, funds previously transferred by Resolution No. �;
_ 79-16 to Treasurer's Wages are nc� longer recruired.
2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the $oard of County
