WHEREAS, that section of the Pitkin County road system consisting of Brush ;
Creek Road fran 41ood Road to Otul Creek Road is in poor condition and subject to j
' high seasonal traffic loads and, �
�
�1HEREAS, Pitkin County, Snowmass Village Township and certain private � ��
interests desire to effect improvements to that portion of road, and have reached �
s
a cost-sharing agreement and, �
WHEREAS, it could not have been reasonably forseen, at the time of adoption �
of the 1979 Budget, that the condition of that portion of road would significantly �
! worsen nor that Pitkin County could realize substantial cost savings in its repair �
.� by joining in an agreement with private parties and, �
IJHEREAS, there is sufficient appropriated expend4tures within the highwa,y
construction portion of the Road & Bridge �epartment to pay the County's share and
'� sufficient private contributions are pledged to pay the remainder of construction
costs.
�� NOW, THEREfORE, BE IT RESOLVfD 6y the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Pitkin, Colorado that:
� 1. Expenditures be increased within the Road & Bridge Department for
` � project 30600-00515, as follows:
