A RESOLUTION REDUCING THE TRANSFER FROM TNE GENERAL FUND
4 70 THE CONTINGENCY FUND AND APPROPRTATING FU IlS WITHIN 7HE GENERAL FUND

� WHEREAS, the County supports the continued operation and activities of the
� Pitkin County Fair board; and ;
WHEREAS, it could not have been reasonably forseen at the time of adoption ;
�
of the 1979 budget that the location at which prior fairs were held wou7d nat be �
" � available for thi.s year's fair and that this cfiange would necessitate additional �
'i
expenditures; and �
WNEREAS, a transfer was budgeted fran the General Fund to increase the fund �
balance in the Contingency Fund, which could be reduced to make revenues availa.ble; "-
and �

WHEREAS, public demand for participation in the seediinqs program exceeded �
that antici.pated, resulting in increased seedling expenditures and increased ;
�
� public contibutions toward that cost. �
y NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the

County of Pitkin, Colorado that:

'� 1. The transfer from the Generai Fund be reduced within the Contingency
� Fund, as follows:

� Add'n to current surplus � (5,000) (10400-55000)
�� Transfer from General Fund 5,000 (10400-95001)
2. The transfer to the Contingency Fund be reduced and appropriated within
� the Extension Service Department, as follows:
