� OE THE BOARD OF COUNTY CO_MMISSIONERS OF

p PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO
y ADOPTING REVISED POSITION CLASSIFICATIONS

RESOLUTION NO. 79 - �

� WHEREAS, the Pitkin County Personnel Manual, adopted by
,
� the Board of County Commissioners on February 26, 1978, and �� '
�!
r
r Resolution 78-137 approved on November 13, 1978, requires that
�
� salary surveys be completed prior to August lOth of each year,
� and that the classification plan be reviewed from year-to-year �
�
� for the purpose of establishing an overall level of pay for
� county personnel, giving consideration to the prevailing rates
,�i,
;� of pay for comparable public and private agencies in the area,
� and
� WHEREAS, the salary surveys were completed in May, 1979
_� by the Pitkin County Personnel Director, the information tabulated,
�.
� and thereafter submitted to the Personnel Review Board for their
� recommendations, and
�; WHEREAS, based upon the salary survey information and �
�. class relationships established by the U.S. Civil Service Commis- �
�sion in 1978, the Personnel Review Board has recommended adoption
`� oE the attached 1980 Position Classification Plan.
� NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the Board of County �
� Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado hereby adopts the
attached 1980 Position Classification Plan for all county
employees £or the fiscal year commencing January 1, 1980, and
BE IT �URTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution recinds and
supercedes all previous resolutions, contracts and agreements E
concerning position classification. �
