RESOLUTION �79-�0�
A RESOLUTION REDUCING REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES
WITHIN THE ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND
WHEf2EAS, the County recognized the need for guard rails to be installed along �
portions of Castle Creek Road and had anticipated that 219 Grant Funding would be
� �' made available to enable that instaTlation; and ;
WNEREAS, in the process of scheduling other work within the Road and Bridge �
� Department certain unanticipated expenses have been encountered; and �
� 7. .
WHEREAS, it could not have been reasonably forseen at the time of adoption
of the 1979 budget that the Grant Funding would not be forthcoming and that �
i s
revenues and expenditures would have to be reduced accordingly; and �
� WHEREAS, the County's matching share of the anticipated grant would be �
available to be reappropriated to cover these unanticipated expenses. �
NOW, THEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin �
County that:
l. The Road and Bridge Grant Department revenues be reduced as follows:
2i9 Grant $(49,700) (11154-62316)'
2. The Road and Bridge Grant Department expenditures be reduced and the
match portion be partially transferred to the Road and Bridge Operations
� Department as fol7ows:
Grant construction (67,170) (11154-82721)
Treasurers Fees (497) (11154-82913)
Construction contract 15,000 (11153-82721)
Grant Dept, contingency 2,967 (11154-89910)
Approved by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado at
their regu�ar meeting held July 23, 1979.
