� WHEREAS, Pitkin County wishes to preserve and safeguard water rights and !

streamflows within its jurisdiction and to do so will necessitate additional
� � � legal expenditures, and
WHEREAS, a transfer from the Ceneral Fund to tfie Contingency Fund was .;
budgeted to increase the Corttingency Fund balance vthich can be reversed in
sufficient amount to provide for these legal expenditures.
P�061, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County that the transfer from the General Fund to the Contingency Fund
be reversed, a transfer from the Contingency Fund to the Generai Fund be made,
and expenditures be increased within the Attorneys Department as follows:
