A RESOLUTION REVERSING ALL BUDGETED ACTIVITY WITHIN .
THE DEBT SERVICE FUND IF� ORDER TO ACCOUNT fOR DEBT
SERVICE WITHIN THE INDIVIDUAL FUNDS.

WHEREAS, Pitkin County is not required to conduct debt service transactions �;
. within a separate debt service fund unless specifically constrained by wording �

: within a bond covenant or other de6t instrument, aRd �.

WHEREAS, in the preparation of the T979 budget, such a fund was budgeted �
� for debt service expenditures by transferring appropriate amounts from each fund N
incurring such expenditures, and

WHEREAS, a debt service reserve for the Airport 1971 anticipation warrants �
' has been determined to not be necessary and should be closed to Fund balance, and �
f WHEREAS, in the interest of clearer and more efficient financial reportinq �y

and management it is desired to reverse all debt service expenditures and �

transfers within the Debt Service fund and account for those expenditures within
individual funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County that adjustments be made to the 1979 budget, as fo7lows; (parentheses
indicate increased revenues or decreased expenditures)
