_ ..� VIHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners, by its Reso-

lution No. 78-121, did submit to the electorate an initiative,
establishing a method of distribution of the proceeds from the
County-wide sales tax among municipalities within Pitkin County,
� and,
� WHEREAS, the method, as approved by the electorate on �
November 7, 1978, reserves 438 of the revenues for the County, •
�
a and allocates the remaining 57� to the municipalities according
�
� to the amount of County sales tax collected within their jcris-
l .
� dictions, and
WHEREAS, the initiative further requires that the Board

of County Commissioners shall determine the share to be received
; by each municipality whioh determination shall be :effective
on the following January first, and �
� WHEREAS, the Board has calculated the share of the various
municipalities and wishes to make its findings of record as
� _ .
� per the attached Addendum A,
i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
� Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, that, effective •
i.
January 1, 1980, the 57$ municipal share of County sales
tax proceeds allocated to municipalities within Pitkin County
shall be distributed in the following percentages:

j City of Aspen, Colorado 83.136 percent
1 Town of Basalt, Colorado 0.258 percent
!
Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado 16.606 percent
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the above new percentage dis-
tributions shall apply only to those sales tax revenues actually :
� collected during 1980.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Colorado Department of �

the City of Aspen and July 1978 to August 1979 for the y
Town of Snowmass Village. All other figures were derived ,f
manually using Pitkin County Sales Tax Collection monthly
reports. The fig¢res derived manuaZly were verified by �
representatives of all three municipalities for the
period September 1977 to June 1978 in October 1478. i
