A RESOLUTION A130PTIb7G THE 1980 POSITION CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR
ALL COUNTY EMPLOYEES FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING AN OVERALL
LEVEL OF PAY FOR COUNTY PERSONNEL EFFECTIVE JANUARY l, ].980.
WHEREAS, the Pitkin County Personnel Manual adopted by
the Board of County Commissioners on Fehruary 26, 1979 requires
that the County's classification plan be reviewed from year-to-

� year for the purposes of establishing an overall level of pay '{
for county personnel, giving consideration to the prevailing rates '
si;a^
� of pay for comparable public and privage agencies in the area, and
WHEREAS, a salary survey was completed in November 1979 by
the Pitkin County Personnel Director, specifically pertaining to
maintenance workers, and in order to ascertain whether or not
reclassifications had taken place for any positions that l�ad been

surveyed in May 1979, the information tabluated and thereafter 'Y:q:

submitted to the Personnel Review Board for their recommendations, ;;5:

- WHEREAS, based upon the salary suroey in£ormation and class
relationships previously established, the Personnel Review Board
' � had recommended adoption of the attached 1980 Position Classification
Plan effective January 1, 1979.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County •
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, hereby adopts the 1980
Position Classification Plan for all county employees effective _
January 1, 1980 attached hereto and made a part hereot, t'.�
Bfi IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution recinds and super- ir
cedes all previous resolutions, contracts and agreements concern-
K ing position classifications.
