-i ES7ABLISHING CERTAIN TREASURER'S FEES

- - WNEREAS, Colorado Revised Statutes 1973, Section 30-1-102, authorizes �� .
the collection of certain Treasurer's fees; and Y �
WHEREAS, Section 5.4.4 of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter authorizes r
the Board of County Commissioners to establish Treasurer's fees by formal resolution;
and "
WHEREAS, charging the statutor�� Treasurer's fees to the County General Fund �
does not comply with generaily accepted dccounting principles; and
WHEREAS, charginq the statutory Treasurer's fees to the County's other
operating funds is inconsistent with the County's cost allocation procedures. ;
N041 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of �itkin
County, Colorado, that the fees to be charged and collected by the Treasurer shall '
�; ` be as set by statute, except that such fees shall not be charged to the County's �
general or other operating funds. �
