OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, APPROVING VARIOUS AMENDMENTS �;i c;- TO THE PITKIN COUNTY LAND USE CODE E�: 'w _ Resolution No. 82 - ?Z �� . �+ WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been requested by the �:'. �.. i, f. �� Building Inspector's Office to consider a number of code amendments which 'y would help them in the enforcement and administration of the Pitkin County � Land Use Code, and �� WHEREAS, the Pitkin County Planning and Zoning Comnission at its reguiar : �,. i! meetings held November 18, 1981 and December 9, 1981 did consider the proposed t; � code amendments and with their Resolution 81-21 made an affirmative recormnenda- �•. tion, and �� WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Board of County Commissioners , �`: ;�� at their regu7ar meeting on March 8, 1982 at which time evidence and testimony �� were presented witfi respect to the proposed code amendments. ��, NOW, THEREfORE, BE IT RESOLUED by the Board of County Comnissioners that , �; it does hereby repeal the definition of "Floor Area" in Section 20-1 and �; reenact the same definition to read as follows: T��. 6� "Floor Area. Area included within the surrounding exterior walls of �1 principle or accessory buildings (or portions thereof) designed for human habitation or occupancy, exclusive of courts and garage area attributable to required off-street parking spaces. The floor area of a building (or portion thereofj shall also include usable area not provided with surrounding ' exterior walls but under the horizontal projection of the roof or floor ' ?' above." BE IT fURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that it does e: hereby repeal the definitions for "Yard, Yard-Front, Yard-Rear, and Yard-Side" k� - all in Section 20-1 and reenact the same definitions to read as follows: a "Yard.
