�'` WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have sponsored a code amend-

�:': ment to exempt employee housing units from the Park Dedication Fee regulation
�,>w and have referred the proposed amendment to the Pitkin County Planning and
� Zoning Commission for their recommendation, and
d=
#, WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission did formally recommend against
� exemption of employee housing units from the Park Dedication Fee but did make
� a recommendation regarding the time at which the fee is collected with their
k� Resolution No. 82-20, and
�. t'� �.:,
J, WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Board of County Commissioners
��
ti� at their regutar meeting on November 22, 1982 at which ti� evidence and testi-
;� mony were presented with respect to this proposed code amendment.
. F� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
��
•�� Pitkin County, Colorado, that it does hereby repeal and re-enact Section 5-501.11
. �;,
(c) to read as follows:
'� "(c) At the election of the Board of County Comnissioners, and in lieu
of the conveyance of land required by subsection (a), the subdivider
` sha11 make a cash payment in an amount equal to the current market value "
�; of the land required for payment by subsection (a) prior to the issuance
�,� of a building permit for the construction of a residential building. The .
��; amount to be paid can be calculated in the same manner as described in
subsection (b), with the additional step of multiplying the square footage
of the area to be dedicated by the current market value of the land to
s�y be subdivided. Assuming a land dedication of 2,470 square feet for the
�:: subdivision of 30,000 square feet of land with a current market value of
; $10,000, the cash in lieu of land fee is calculated as follows:
