APPROVAL OF A FIREWORK DISPLAY PERMIT ''.;'
FOR THE ASPEN AIR SHOW � �''

WHEREAS,the Aspen Air Show has requested approval of a firework display permit for
a pyrorechnic d'up(ay during the 1996 Aspen Air Show on June 30, S 99b;and r� �
WHEREAS, this request which has been coordinated with and approved the Pitkin �
County Sheriff and the Aspen Fire Protection District to allow For the disp(ay to be performed in
; a safe manner;and
WHEREAS, the display wili be conducted by a licensed pyrotechnican and insurance
coverage for this event has been obtained;and `

WHEREAS, this request is being made in the best interest oF community safety and
welfare.
� NOW, TNEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County,Colorado:
