RECITALS
1. The Aspen Base Operation and Pitkin County, hereinafrer "Appiicants", have '
applied to the Boazd of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, hereinafter
"Board",for an amendment to a Sgecial Review Use and Scenic Overlay approvals re[ated
to the General Aviation area ai the Pitkin County Airport.
" 2. The site is wned PUBLIC and is located approximately 3 miies west of Aspen.
, 3. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the ABO Storage
� Hanger/Maintenance Shop Relocarion at the April 2,1996 regular meeting.
� 4. The Boazd heard this applicaYion at a regularly scheduled meeting on June 26,1996,
at which time evidence and testimony was presented with respect to this applica6on.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board thai it does hereby grant
i appmvai of the Aspen Base Operation SYorage Hanger/Maintenance Shop Relocation,
� subject to the following conditions:
� 1, The Applicant shat[comply with the conditions of Resolutions 92-215,PZ-93-11,93-69,
and 93-135 unless otherwise revised or amended by conditions of this approval.
� 2. The Applicant shall submit a landscape p[an to the Community Development Department ,
for approvat, prior to ihe issuance of a building permit for the Storage Hanger or
Maintenance Facility, which depicts the placement of trees for the purpose of further
screening the siructures from Highway 82.
3. Tl�e Applicant shall adhere to all material representations made in the application and in the
public meetings. �= :
