RECITAL.$
1. The Basak Chamber of Commerce,hereinafter"Applicant,"has applied to the �``'

Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County,Colorado,hereinafter,
"Board,"for approval of a Temporary Use Permit to hold a fund-raiser for the �,I`� '

$asalt Elementary School full day Kindergarten,pursuant to Section 3-20030 of , ��
Yhe Land Use Code. `

2. Tl�e Iand Use Code requires that the Board determine that the request for a permit
is necessary to hold the public event or celebration and that adequate provision ��

has been made for poiice supervision,insurance,area maintenance and public

� 3. The Boazd considered the ApplicanYs request to hold the event at a public �
meeting on November 20,1996,at which time the Boazd found that the �..
Applicant's request meets the requirements of the Land Use Code. �::.;�

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board that it does hereby -
" : grant a Temporary Use Permit for the Basalt Chamber of Commerce Taste of BasAlt
subject to the foflowing conditions: '
- 1) This temporary use permit is issued to tha Basalt Chamber of Commerce for
a fund-raiser to be held at 2101 Emma Road on Saturday,December 7,1996. �
The event will take place from 6:00 p.m.to 10:00 p.m. j

. 2) The applicant shall provide an insurance certificate to the satisfaction of the �

Risk Manager ptior to the issuance of the temporary use permit.
3) The applicant shall adhere to ali material representations made in the • .
application and in die public meeting.
