2. $1,500 toward prevention, education, and lab test
for sexually transmitted disease exams for those

3. Services offered by Community Health Services, Inc. are available for referral from
the community and aze often linked by referrals from other Human Service agencies `��
in Pitkin County who identify service gaps for the low-income population.

Community Health Services, Inc. meets and works closeiy with other health caze and v��
Human Service providers in the community so that the medical community and other
Human Services agencies have easy access to CHS, Ine, for referrals of the low- ''
income population. {'
• Follow-up referrals for health, nutrition,clothing and financial needs are made by � -�
public health nurses who are trained to identify and case finds for pubiic health
needs--especially for the low-income population who may not have the resources '
necessary to access information and health care. � ;

4. Funding from this CSBG will be coordinated with funding from the City of Aspen, �'
and Pitkin County as well as other private donations from the communiry to enabte i ,
CHS, Inc. to provide the services described in this proposal. �

( The Board of county Commissioners finds that it is necessary and ,`}
desirable to the formation of local public policy, the appeal of
local regulatory decisions, and to the guidance of governmental
activity that citizens boards be formed to increase citizen ��
: involvement. This policy is consistent with formal resolution 91-
� 23 as approved by the BOCC on March 12, 1991 which established
- policy on appointments to Citizen Boards, Commissions, Committees �,;�
and Task Forces.
Such boards fall into three distinct categories, and a listing of
each board can be found in the appendix of this manual. An
_ individual can serve in one of each type of board as provided
below:
1. Ongoing policy, advisory and management bodies;
• 2. Appeal and administrative review bodies; and, � : .
3. Ad hoc issues task forces.

All Citizen Boards are established pursuant to Article Three (3) �� _ .

be composed of five (5) members, and each may have up to five (5)
alternate members at the discretion of the BOCC. Alternates may ��
only vote in the absence of regulars, and alternates shall serve ��
a minimum of one (ly year prior to appointment as a regular member
(unless no alternate members are available). ;
Membership on the Planning & Zoning Commission is qoverned by �
30-28-104 C.R.S.; the Commission shall consist of not less �y.

third (1/3) of them expire in any given year.

integrity of the County and negatiVely impacts the morale and
productivity of our employees. Sexual harassment is any ��unwelcome
sexual advances, request for sexual favors and other verbal or

expressed in various ways, such as sexual remarks, subtle or overt
sexual demands and physical assault. Sexual harassment is not
condoned and will not be tolerated under any circumstances within

that sexual harassment generates a harmful atmosphere, so it is our
position to affirmatively promote an atmosphere free of sexual
