RECITALS
. 1
1. The Aspen Chapel Trustees, (hereafter "Applicant "), have

requested a Growth Management Quota System Exemption and Scenic
'
Overlay approval to construct an approximately 90o square foot
1
addition to the Chapel.
2. The Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners (hereafter
r .
"Board ") finds that the Chapel represents an essential community
-
facility and is therefore eligible for a Growth Management Quota'
a
System Exemption for Essential Community Facilities.•
3. The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed this application';?
at their regularly scheduled public meeting on March 7, 1995, and
'
recommended approval of the Chapel addition.
4. The property is described on Exhibit "A" attached.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
�•
Commissioners that it hereby approves this application subject to
the following conditions:

1. The addition shall be built according to the plans presented
by the applicant and shall be limited to approximately 900''
square feet.

2. Prior to issuance of any building permits, the existing floor
;
area of the Chapel shall be verified by the Zoning Officer.
