COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO,
AMENDIN6 THE BOARD'S EARLIER RESOLUTION N0. 78-75
� CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION OF SNOWMAKING
EQUIPMEIJT ON ASPEN MOUNTAIN �
Resolution No. 81 - 54
WHEREAS, an application has been received from the Aspen Skiing Corpora-
tion for certain modifications to the special review permit previously
, a
issued for the installation of snowmaking equipment on Aspen Mountain, all �
� as contained in the Board's Resolution No. 78-75, and �
WHEREAS, the Corporation has made requests for several changes, namely:
, 1. To permit the simuitaneous construction of both phases of the snowmaking
�.
system, one incorporating the lower portion of Aspen Mountain and the other
� completing the loop to include the middle and upper portions of Aspen �

; ^; Mountain; and �:
#p�� 2. To permit the construction of four buildings in the county portion of the
� e��
project:

�:' (a) a 5000 sq, ft. control building on Dago Road at the bottom and
"` westerly of Straw Pile Trail, and
;;

: , � (b) a 800 sq. ft, booster pump house adjacent to the upper terminus of
lift lA on the east side of Ruthie's Run, and
�;�
(c) a 100 sq. ft, block house on the west side of the upper portion of
Little Nell, and
�;.
(d) a 100 sq. ft. block house at the top of Ruthie's Run; and
-� WHEREAS,on the recommendation of the P7anning and Zoning Commission,
_ the Board has determined to approve the requested changes.
� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado, that its earlier Resolution No. 78-75 be amended:
' 1. To permit the simultaneous construction of both phases of the snowmaking �
system, one incorporating the lower portion of Aspen Mountain and the other ; �
