f THIS AGREEMENT is entered into as of the first day �
of January, 1981 by and between the BOARD OF COUNTY COMAiISSI0NER5 �
dF PITKIN COUNTY and the HIGH COt1NTRY RETIRED SENIOR VOLUNTEER f

PROGRAM (RSVP) . {

WNEREAS, the R5VP sponsors a volunteer program for !
senior citizens in Pitkin County, and ti
WHEREAS, these services are recognized to be of value j
�'
to the Pitkin County resident participants, and
WHEREAS, each of the above parties desire jointly to �`

. have thase services available for qualifying citizens of Pitkin �
c
� County, and `

�WHEREAS, it is appropriate for the 8oard of County
s" Commissioners of Pitkin County to allocate local funding for �
_-~{� � the purposes of purchasing these serviees. (�

NOW, THEREFORE, 6e it resolved by the Board of County {

Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado:

1. This contract shall be effective for the Calendar
Year I9S1 and any extension or renewal thereof shall
be re-negotiated at budget time (that zs prior to
September 30, 1981) . ��
2. RSUP will provide a volunteer bureau f,or senior �
citizens. They wi11 perform volunteer services
- within Pitkin County and receive travel reimburse- `,
ments and insurance. �
3. RSVP will place a paid representative in the County ;�,�
to ensure that these acYivities occur.
4. Payment to RSVP will he in the following manner:
A. RSVP will submit a quarterly report to the �
Pitkin County Human Resource Department.
B. Upon receipt and acceptance of said report,
the f{umatt Resource Department wi21 submit ,j
a requisition for payment to the Pitkin County !
Finance Department �vithin tow weeks. �
C. Piikin County will submit`payment to RSVP. � �
�;_>. • Total payment for the Calendar Year shall not '
. exceed �2,305.00. ti {

S. This contract may be cancelled and terminated by
either party, but that the party desiring to `? �
terminate ox cancel must give.written.notice thirty �
thirty (30) days prior to the date of cancellation. = {
