1. The Bumps restaurant, (hereinafter "Applicant��) is x ;'

permitted to operate during the ski season under the approved
� Buttermilk Mountain Master Plan and the AF-SKI zone district.

i 2. The Huttermilk Mountain Master Plan does not allow the �
off-season operation of the Bumps facility.

3. Section 3-1903 of the Land Use Code requires the Board �
- of County Commissioners (hereinafter "Board") determine that
the request for a temporary use permit is necessary to hold
a public event or celebration. �,

�,;.� 4. The Applicant is requesting approval for a private party `

, for outback Steakhouse Company employees, to be held at Bumps
�
- at the base of the Main Buttermilk Ski Area on April 9, 1995
• from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The event will include a � .
,� 7` fireworks display on Buttermilk Mountain, to be orchestrated
� �
and supervised by volunteers recruited from the ranks of the
Aspen Fire Protection District. �, ,
5. The Board found that the proposal generally complies with y'�-

2. The Applicant shall notify all homeowners in the immediate �'t'~ ,
� vicinity of the Buttermilk Mountain base area of • any *f '
anticipated impacts associated with the event. �5 ,•
3. Exterior lighting of Bumps sha11 be limited to that necessary 'a�`�'
for safe access to, and operation of, the facility.

4. The Applicant shall provide shuttle service for event
participants and staff. ��'

5. The Applicant shall .provide at least two properly equipped
Emergency Medical Technicians to be stationed at Bumps for
' the duration of the event. �
6. This temporary use permit is issued for the outback Steakhouse
• , ,;
;.!.; Buttermilk party. The event, including setup and cleanup of �,
Bumps restaurant and transport of guests, will take place from
6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on April 9� 1995.
7. The County Risk Manager shall approve insurance for this
event, prior to commencement of the event or before April 9,
1995. .
� 8. The Applicant shall pay the required planning fees to the •.
Community Development Department, on or before April 7, 1995.
: 9. The Applicant shall notify the public of this event, '
` particularly those members of the public who own @ogs, by way � ',.
�� of a display advertisement in the local newspapers, to be �
�_' published prior-to April 9, 1995.

10. The Applicant sha1Z adhere to all material representations
`'i made in the public meeting. '
