The Board of County Commissioners is required under State s`� Law to discharge the dutiea of the Board of Equalization, � � x,'F9 . 2. The Board of Equalization is charged wiCh the duty of *: '� ` •- ' assuring that the Assessor fairly and equally appZies appraisal •.'sa�'• � procedures. ;;4� 3. The volume o£ appeals in 1995 will exceed the amount ot i' � � time that the Board of County Commissioners hae available to sit �°`? :, as the Board of Equa3ization. 'y 4. The Board of County Commissioners wiahes to appoint � hearing officers to act as the Board of Equalization. r't 5. Also, pursuant to C.R.S. 39-8-108.5, as amended, the �� Board of County Commissionera is empowered to appoint and develop �•r a list of qualified arbitrators to hear appeals of the County Board F of Equalization decisions. 6. The arbitrators selected ahall be available to property �£,. owners desiring to submit to arbitration their decisions from the County Board of Equalization. � _ � . � 7.
