first and secand readings of the rezoninq Ordinance were held by f
the Board of County Commissi,oners on March 22nd and April 19th,

11. In response to public comment expressed at the Pianning and '�

- 1 2oning Commissfon meetings and Board hearings, the Board directed

+ Staff to review and draft alternative zone districts for five
remaining Planninq Study areas, or portions, thereof. The Board ' �

finds that the Rural/Remote Zone district requires modifications

to address issues unique to agriaultural lands, Coal Basin and ;•+
� part& of Lenado. The alternative districts shall specifically � �
