Recitals
1. The County and City of Aspen desire to exchange certain properties in Rio Grande � ,+
Subdivision to align ownership of real pmperty with the improvements that each party currently
- conhrols aad operates. ,.. -

2. The City of Aspen desires to wnvey and County desires to accept Lot 3 a�rcl L.ot 5 of '
Rio Grande Subdivision. Lot 3 is the site of the existing Pitkin County Library and Lot S is ��.
the vacant lvt behind the Pitkin County Jail.

� 3. County desires to convey and City desires to accept Lot 2 of Rio Grande Subdivision
which is the site of the existing City parking garage. -
NOW THEREFORE, the Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners hereby ordains that =
' the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County,Colorado be authorized ''•
. to execute the attached Quit Claim Deed conveying Rio Grand Subdivision, Lot 2, which is
the site of the Rio Grand Parking Garage to the City of Aspen. Reserving onto the County a
44 foot easement for possible library expansion over the current Rio Grande Parking Garage.

- Be it further ordained that Pitkin County shall accept a Quit Ctaim Deed from the City ;k
•• of Aspen conveying to Pitkin County, Rio Grande Subdivision Lot 3, which is currently the �
locadon of the Pitkin County Library, and Lot 5 of the Rio Grande Subdivision, a vacant lot.
Conveyance of the Rio Grande Snbdivision Lot 3 will contain a reservallon of easement for the �
