KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the undersigned,
THE COUNTY OF PITKIN, a Corporation duly organized and existing
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Colorado
� (hereinafter called "Grantor") for a good and valuable consideration, the receipt whereof is S
hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant unto HOLY CROSS ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION, INC., a cooper- ;
ative corporation whose post office address is P.O. Drawer 250, Glenwood Springs, Coiorado,

A parcel of land situated in Section 35, 7ownship 9 South, Range 85 Vlest of the
6th P.M.; Sections 1, 2, and 12, Township 10 South, Ran9e 84 West of the 6th
P.M.; and Section 7, Township 10 South, Range 85 West of the 6th P.M. as more
fu11y described in Book 243, Page 217 of the records of the Pitkin County Clerk �

. And, to construct, reconstruct, repair, change, enlarge, rephase, operate, and maintain an E
underground electric transmission or distribution line, or both, with the underground vaults,
conduit, fixtures and equipment used or useable in cnnnection therewith, together with
associated equipment required above ground, within the above mantioned lands, upon an ease-
ment described as follows:

Together with the riqht to remove any and all trees, brush, vegetation and obstructions �
, within said strip of tand when such is reasonably necessary for the implementation and use �
of the rights hereinabove granted. After the exercise by Grantee of any of its rights �
r hereunder, Grantee shall promptly restore the surface of the ground to its former condition,
�4Yt as nearly as is practicable, and shall promptly replace any and all trees, brush, and -
vegetation removed or damaged by Grantee.
