tain benefits, establish certain conditions of employment and set �

Section 3. Termination: �
A. In the event employee is terminated by the Board, �
such termination shall be as »rovided in Section 2.B., and upon `
such termina�ion the Board mav in its discretion, provide termin-
_ -- ation pay or other consideration as the circumstances ma:l dictate

and the Board may desire.
B. The emoloyee ma�l terminate this agreement twent��-one 1
(21) days after giving caritten notice of such intent to the County !

� Section 4. Salary: �
A. The Board agrees to nay emAlovee for services render- i

ed pursuant hereto a monthly base salary of Two Thousand One Hundred
�
Forty-Seven ($2,147.00) Dollars during the probationary neriod as ;
defined b,y the Pitkin County Personnel �'[anual. �
- . S. Unon comnletion of the nrobationar,y period as defin- �

� ed by the Pitkin County Personnel Manual, the emplovee may he eligible �
� for an off-probation increase of up to five (5$) percent. '
C. The emnloyee's base salary shall be adjusted for �
inflation in the same manner as all other Countv emnloyees' salaries.

D. The employee shall be eligible for merit increases in
the same manner as other County emnlovees. ':
Section 5. Overtime:
Emnloyee shall work at least fortq-hours (40) ner week
. ��
and shall be considered exemot fron over�ime pay as defined in _
the Pitkin Countv Personnel P�ianual. Administrative leave, ho<,�ever,
may be granted by the County Manager.
Section 6. Vacation and Sick Leave:
_ Emoloyee shall accrue and have credited vacation and sick " �

leave at the same rate as other emnlovees of the County. � i

Section 7. fiealth/Dental and Life Insurance: �
The Board agrees to provide health/dental and life in- �

Section 8. Retirement:
The employee shall not be covered bv the County's �
Retirement System. �
Section 9, Miscellaneous Benefit Provision:

to vacation and sick leave, holidays and other fringe bene£its and
: working conclitions as they now exist or hexeafter may be amended, 4
