A RESOLUTION TERMINATING PITKIN COUNTY`S PARTICIPATION
TN COLORADO COUNTY OPFICIALS AND EMPLOYEL�S RETIREMENT
ASSOCIATION EFFECTTVE ,TANUARY 1, 1983

� 6THF,REAS, by resolution the Pitkin County Board of CounCy
Commissioners e2ected to participate in Colorado County OfficiaLs '�
and Employees Retirement Association co�nencing January 1, 1970; and
t•THEREAS, it has now been determined that continued participation
in this mandatory retirement plan is not in the best interests of the
,�'' � County or its'employees.
NOiJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
�` Commissioners of Pitkin County, having been advised of the implications
� of withdrawal, hereby notifies Colorado County Officials and Employees �
�
Retirement Association of its intention to withdraw from the Association

effective 7anuary 1, 1983.
