i'.w , . agree that the approved Agreement between the County Co�nissioners and Colorado '
Departnent of Social Services for the donation and use of Process Cheese entitled
'" (� "Agreement for Distri6ution of Process Cheese" is amended to provide for the donation I'
z� •�" and use of Butter on the same terms and conditions as are provided in that Agreement.
In addition,
`' (1) Caunty Camnissioners must agree to have adequate freezer facilities for storage
' _� ,�'�. of the Butter or the ability to distribute it within (48) hours of receipt. ;r
;`� � (2} If it is possible to establisfi centralized destination points, similar to Process '
� Cheese shipments, it will be the responsibility of the County, which agrees to be �
a ce�tralized destination point to safeguard the temperature of the Butter until
�� it is picked-up by surrounding counties and/or until distribution is made to needy
'•j peopl e.
ij _ (3j If centraiized destination points are established, it ariii be the responsibility
�� of the Counties picking up their Butter to safeguard the temperature, while being
transported to the Counties' freezer facility and/or until the Butter is distri-
'� buted to needy people. -
(4) If the Butter is shipped to the commercial warehouse in Uenver (Colorado Ice and
Cold Storage) for eventual shipment to individual courtties, the individva] County ;�'
wi11 be responsible for all storage and handling fees incurred based on totai °-��
� weight of the order, untiT shipment is made. (See attached tariff schedule for
Colorado Ice and Cold Storage). '
� (5) Counties requesting Butter to be shipped from Denver by commercial carrier �aill '
be responsible for transportation charges on a freight col7ect basis. �
