*r' A. There are no mutual aid zones in the Aspen area.

3�� B. The city-county central dispatch office will take fire reports

'�• �''�' C. The agency that can take the quickest effective fire
'' u�•� suppression action will be dispatched £or initial attack. The
- agency that is responsible for fire protection on their land
�a will assume command of the suppression action at the earliest
z .;� possible time or as otherwise agreed.
;,;x� D. [dhen ownership and responsibility for fire suppression can be
i;:`_;'d readily determined, the benefiting agency will request a
� specific number and type of suppression force when initial
attack is made by a cooperating agency. Only the requested
��`'� suppression force raill be reimbursed unless otherwise agreed
r'�;�� to in writing between the parties involved. -
E. When ownership cannot he readi2y determined and suppression ' `
rs +. action is taken independently by a cooperating agency, onZy

than Glenwood Springs, the Aspen Ranger District will act for
