C :,,, ment appearing in tYie assessment roll. Madsen asked Mikkelsen if the review com- t { ��-.:TT'1 mi.tee had lawered the original assessed value of $71,500 to $59,000. Mikkelsen explained that a review comni.ttee coi�osed of Mikkelsen, Chief Deputy Assessor - ' �:L.`� _ .X' � Warren Connor and consultant Ray I.e Duke had cc:onsidened the protest of the orig- "4 � , :;; inal assessment and because Le Duke and Connor had mistakenly thought the lots r. ��. were contiguous they voted to laaer the assessment and Mikkelsen had voted against .�sK,._,:s: ��`� lowering the assessment. Only after the notification to Kreidler had they dis- � L• ' ,A covered that the parce]s were not rnntiguous. Connor said the review conmittee ; s _�� ` 'c ,� could not change the assessment now but the Hoard of Equalization could restore �. p, -��,� (.,.�. �. �_ the original assessment. Connor e�lained that two sales had taken place near �'' � `.� �.. the entrance to Snowir�ass Creek: in 1976 there was a sale in the adjacent sub- r '� Z. � divi.sion of Snowmass Springs for a parcel slightly larger than the Kreidler parcel � �;.�-:,�< which sold for $65,000; in 1974 a parcel sold in Hidden Meadows £or $36,000; and ;�;�;;,:��;;, ',"�'����`�' the Kreidler cel as un roved land had been valued at_$33,000 ir 1972. Klanderud questioned Kriedler's belief that '""''' the parcels would sell for $40,000 to $50,000 when similar parcels sold for ���-,�<',,, �'"�' ; �,��.:;:- $36,000 in 1976, Madsen asked about the value of other pazcels in the subdiv- � y,.. ision and Connor said that aftes the adjustment downward, Kreidler's pracels were 4.a �,.,':,_� ���,,;,, valued lower than any other pazcel.
