� WHEREAS, the Aspen Skiing Corporation has reque5ted special �
�� review approval and exemption from the commercial GMP for an 829
j� square foot expansion of the snowmaking control/maintenance building
� on Aspen Mountain, and
jWHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commissian (hereinafter
-_a''. "Commission") reviewed this application at their regular meeting on

June 7, 1983 and upon finding that the expansion would have minimum
� impact upon the community granted exemption from the commercial GMP
� regulation pursuant to Section 5-510.2 (i) of the Pitkin County
�
� Land Use Code, and

'.� WHEREAS, the "Commission" also found that the expansion of
� n.;,
this building was an appropriate accessory use to the ski area and i;
did recommend conditional special review approval with their Resolution
� No. 83 - 12

; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLi�ED by the Board of County Commissioners t�
oE Pitkin County, Coiorado that it does hereby grant special review
: �
approval to the Aspen Ski Corporation for the requested 829 square
foot expansion of the snowmaking control/maintenance building on
Aspen Mountain subject to the following conditions:
1. All exterior lighting shall be consistent with the
lighting plan described in Varouj Hairabedian's letter
to Richaxd Grice of June 1, 1983 with the following �;°�;•�:;:;:�',�
additional provisions:

a. All bulbs shall be shielded from view from town, r.
and ;;"

b. Sodium vapor and mercury vapor lights are specifically �
prohibited, and �
c. This lighting plan shall be implemented prior to �
the issuance oP a certificate o£ occupancy, and
2. The landscaping plan whieh was prepared by Design Workshop
dated March 12, 1982 shall be implemented prior to the �
issuance of a certi�icate of occupancy, and
