SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS. This Agreement does not and shall not be deemed or consuued to confer upon or grant to sny third party or parties,except to parties to whom Contractor or County may assign this Agreement in acwrdance with the specific written permission,any rights to claim ' • damagas or to bring any suit, action or other proceeding against erther the County or Conuactor because of any breach hereof or because of any of the terms,covenants, agreements or conditions ' herein contained. �` 7. DETAILED SCOPE OF WORK � A 72 strand mufti-mode fiber cable will 6e pulled tluough 2"innerduct from the City Hatl MDF to a splicing center ihat witl be � locatecl in a storage room in the parkiag garage. This T2 strend fiber eablo will be spliced witf�smaller strand count Fibec optic , lines that will go into each of the other facilities. Tho Cowt House will have a 24 strand cablc coming from the spiice center into � the NIDF for this buiiding. The Jail and Library will have 12 strand cables connecting them to the splice center and the Plaza building will be connected wiih a 24 strand feber optic cable. This wiii provide a a strand for strand connection for each building back to tho Couihouse that well yiald maximum flexibility in�tworlc co�guration and design. An additional I2 strand fibtt optic cabk will be instalied froat the Jail facility!o the Coiut House for added connections between thcse two buildings. Fusion splices will be used in the splice center to provide the most efftcient and optir,atly cleanest splice availahle. Al!nf the _� ` temunations in the buildings will be with standard ST epoxy style ceramic connectocs. An extra innerduct will atso be instaLled � ��- from City Fiall to the fust vault to allow for future expansion and growth. This training includes ACC in house training as ` well as Mod-Tap certi£catians,BICSI,ATBcT,&Sieeor fiber optic and sWetured cabling coutses. A pcojeet manager wil!also � ibe assigned to this job and will be available throughout the installadon W suppoR the install crew and to track and organize the � � logistics and documentation required. � -;j FIBER TESTING: Each multimode Fiber s[rand wi(1 be tested with a light mettr for attenuatioa at SSOnm in both directions. Any discrepancy in readings between tha bi-directional readings or between the individual strand readings will be adequate reason to test the suspect strand with an OTDR to check for micro/macro bends or any other reflective event along the fiber. The ; attenuation readings will be documented on standard oplical insertion Joss fomu and if OTDR testing is required,the OTDR plots ` will also be provided.
