The Team recommended that aggressive conservation become the
cornerstone oF future vate� plans for the entire petcopolita�
area.
The Team also questioned the need foc the nev Ztro Forks
, �.' Resecvoir, a two million acre foot project. Although it was felt
���<_�"�� that additional stoiage should be provided on the South Platte
; River, it was not felt that a capacity of greater than tao
- hundred thousand acre feet was nee3ed. The implementation of a

� and, as a result, ninimize environmental imnacts, and reduce
� - salinity and other water quality impacts experienced on the [/est
