Cbild explained that he pecsonally sco�ed each of the
applicants based on vacious criteria a�d thak, although all of
the candidates wete highly qualified, he felt that tbe most
higbly qualified candidake vas St�llec.
elake explained that he ceview�d the va[ious candidates on
the hasis of those significant issues facing the community at
this time. As consolidation vas considered oRe {1) of th� taost
pressiag qoals, he indicated that h� would suppoit former City
Counailmembec Knecbt.
, Klanderud explained that, throughout tbe f�terview process,
the most important candidate qualities were felt to be an under-
sCanding of, and experience in, both the comciunity and its
government and fiscal Lesouccefulness, and that on this basis she
would support the appointment of Braudis, Klanderud felt it was
impottant that the Board consider a replacement that shared
Kinsley's agenda, and there was no question that Stuller vas, in
= this instance, closer to Kinsley's positions on most issues.
There were a n�mber of concerns associated with such an apQointment,
however, including the potential f or substantial conflicts of
inte�est given het firm's practice at this time, her ability to
