AHBRSAS, the Aapen School District RE-1 (hereinafter "Applicant") �

� has made application with the Hoard of Coanty Commissioners of Pftkin �

' County, Colorado (hereinafter °BOard"), for an exemption to the Growth ,
;l, Management Quota System for a 6,000 square foot classroom addition; and �

� review said application; and
'� NHERSAS, the Board reviewed said application pursuant to Section

� 5-510.2 (fJ of the Pitkin Connty Land Use Code which provides for ;
'';"� exemptions to the Growth Management Quota System for essential government !

;��i and community facilities other than housing; and
� fiHERF.tiS, the Board Einds that this project represents an essential

community facility and that impacts generated by this pcoject are
:`� negligible.

- ! grant approval of the Growth Management Quota System exemption Eor the
F�,;I Aspen High School subject to the following conditions:
� '`f 1. The applicant will agree with the Aspen water Department to
1 determine whether the water main seroing the schoo2 should
'�:1 be upgraded now or in the future.
� 2. The applicant will commit to maintaining the current lighting
' style used on the main building and to confocm to the
'� adopted Pitkin County Exterior 112umination Standards,
`i 3. The applicant will adhere to all representations made in the 3
written application and site plan. !
